GORHAM, Maine – MEGA Industries, LLC, world leader in the design manufacture of microwave transmission equipment, is pleased to announce the final stages of production for a WR2100 High Power Switching Network.
Given a frequency range of 476 MHz, Mega utilized WR2100 Waveguide as a design size. Coaxial transitions between waveguide and two sizes of coax line (9″ and 6″) were provided as part of the switch.
The WR2100 Waveguide Switch transmits multiple outputs to a single input, and is capable of handling 1 megawatt.
The switching network, to be utilized in fusion energy research, is a testament to Mega Industries’ high power capabilities.
