A stub tuner is a fundamental device used for impedance matching in microwave applications. Our coaxial stub tuners are used for power and attenuation measurement, as well as matching, mixing and signal detecting applications.
Mega offers designs in double and triple stub configuration. Each stub is set to a variable height and is connected at a right angle to the main coaxial transmission line. The positioning of each stub will determine the potential for impedance matching and ease the facilitation of tuning.
Typical frequency ranges extend from 915 MHz to 18.0 GHz. In our standard design, we utilize knurled clamps to set short positions. Material used is typically copper and brass. Standard finish is black paint, with various options available.
The following specifications apply to a High Power, Triple Stub Tuner, 7/16 DIN for 2.45 GHz:
Frequency: 2450 +/- 100 MHz
Power: 1kW Average, 15kW Peak
Tuning: Up to 10:1 mismatch
Interface: 7/16 DIN
Weight: 1.760 lbs
