GORHAM, MAINE
Mega Industries LLC today announced the buyout of its minority shareholder Rymsa RF, S.L.U. a division of SENER AREOESPACIAL based in Bilbao, Spain. Rymsa RF had been a valued minority partner at MEGA for the past 5 years. Rymsa RF joined the MEGA ownership group following MEGA’s 2015 acquisition of MCI Broadcast, of which Rymsa RF was sole owner.
MEGA and Rymsa RF also signed a long term, five-year Noncompetition Agreement. Rymsa RF and all SENER subsidiaries agreed to work exclusively through Mega Industries when selling passive microwave components to national research laboratories and universities, including any government or non-government entity purchasing such components for use by these users worldwide. The MEGA Industries team looks forward to supporting Rymsa RF, SENER and their customers in any upcoming needs or projects.
Earlier, MEGA announced its merger with Ferrite Microwave Technologies creating a global leader in high power microwave systems and components, offering customers around the world a single source to support their most demanding high power microwave needs (circulators, loads, flexible and rigid waveguide, combiners, coaxial components plus a complete line of microwave heating and tempering systems).
Deal terms of the Rymsa RF buyout have not been announced.
